November 25, 2010On November 22, 2010, a Writ of Injunction issued by Judge Danilo Buemio arrived at the dotPH offices. It ordered us to remove “malicious” items on the i.PH blog alimuom.i.ph. If you remember, alimuom.i.ph has been at the center of a libel lawsuit filed against us by Versomina Inc. The writer of alimuom.i.ph is an anonymous blogger who refuses to answer our appeal to come and help us out. A scan of the Injunction is posted at the end of this blog post for the curious.
We have censored what we think are the “malicious messages” referred to in the Injunction because we are, after all, law-abiding Netizens
There’s more to this case than just a debate over Free Speech.
If the blogger behind Alimuom comes forward, maybe we can get to the bottom of this.
