- ease of use… once you get the hang of it of course
- all-in-one solution. audio? check. images? check. video? easy enough.
- active support. of course, after-sales (or what stands for it for dotph) is king
- flexible posting sol’n. not a codemonkey? you have the WYSIWYG editor. you need tables and some other er, exotic layout? the HTML editor is there. quite buggy/finicky but you’ll get the hang of it.
- best. domain. ever.

cons:

- rather slow; i dunno. feels like a certain networking site that became a de-facto marketplace.
- limited design options. no CSS editing support for one. of course, i’d pick security over customization options anytime. and come on, the limited options are good.

wish list:

- mobile version. something that allows users for quick-n-dirty posts and access a bare minimum of functionalities. no not through email.
- sub-domains. instead of something.i.ph/blogs/blogname/ can it be blogname.something.i.ph or even something.i.ph/blogname?
- better permalinks. instead of the long-ass ones can we specify a permalink like something.i.ph/post-title or something similar? or at least something that allows us to edit the title part of the permalink.

Hi Headbalisser, thanks for the feedback. We are aware that the ad is big, but we’ve made sure that it only comes up once a day and that there’s a close button on it. Hope that solves the issue!

I love it here. Love the simple layout, the short URL, the way I can switch between simple and HTML editing, and the ability to post whatever I need. I decided on this site because the others seemed to have TOO MANY features, features that were never used and not needed.

I do wish there were a few things that could be added, though. Like an easy way to have pictures and video automatically re-sized to fit the width of the columns. Also, to have the columns re-sized when viewed in a wide screen window.

Don’t know if it’s feasible, but I’d love to be able to automatically link to other i.ph blogs to bookmark them. The blogroll’s kind of tedious.

I also haven’t been able to access the forums for the longest time. I’ve been hoping to read about tips and tricks on how to work with the i.ph blogs. Articles on how to customize or spruce up the blogs or suggestions about widgets would be nice.

Last, some new themes might be nice.

You know what I don’t mind seeing the ad just make it 4 times smaller and you said it should appear once a day is it per user who visits my profile? if no then it doesn’t work!

how do you fix the spacing? i don’t know what’s the default size but i think it is big for me. i have to write a draft on ms word so i could have 0pt space and paste it on my blog. can i have an answer for this.

i love the fact that it’s using a very short domain i.ph, hence i can just add in the name of my blog, as if it’s paid. The pop-up/ad “earn while you learn” just keeps re-occuring everytime you change page. There should be an option there to disable it at it has been displayed once.

Surely, I’m always tweaking my blogdrafts, from my desktop notepad before every copy/paste to my blogsite.

I don’t have any problem like this before, and just wondering why now!

All the drafts in my blogsite I see to it before publishing looked okay, no snag or blank space. But when I clicked “Publish”, the print-out contains some two or three snags or open space, though no
text is missing.

For sure, the computer can’t be perfect all the time and I’m not really after perfection. But can’t we get any better next time!
