An Appeal to Versomina/Netpros Ex-Employees

January 23, 2009

We’ve had an overwhelming response to the last post that we made. We appreciate you coming forward and sharing information.  Everyone has urged us to keep the blog alimuom.i.ph up.

But that may be something beyond our control. There is a very real chance that the judge issues a TRO that will force us to take alimuom.i.ph down until the case has been resolved.  If that happens, the fight is pretty much over. The blog gets taken down, while the case can drag on for years and bleed us dry with legal expenses.

Perhaps the only thing that can help is if the claims that have been made could be substantiated, so we can make the case that the blog is a valid form of expression and not just a vehicle for personal attacks.

So we need more than accusations. We need information we can verify. Otherwise, the judge can dismiss everything as hearsay. We need to show something that can stand up to scrutiny and shows that your accusations are true.

For example, “Netpros / Versomina ex-Employee” said that Joel Aquino has several cases filed against him in the Department of Labor and Employment. And he has mentioned that Joel Aquino has “has more than 50 cases (and still counting) … opened in Pasig RTC against ex-employees.” It would help if he provided the case names and which RTC salas they are in so we could check them out (there are over 30 RTC salas in Pasig and no consolidated database).

For those who’ve related accounts of ex-employees’ tax, SSS, Pag-Ibig and salaries not being paid — dates, amounts, names and  similar info is what we need. Same with accusations that Versomina sends out spies to check in on ex-employees, invading their privacy and personal lives.

Time is running out. The TRO could be issued at any time and the blog could go down.

One person has already come forward and shared vital information. If you’d like to do your part, just leave a comment here indicating your willingness to do so. You don’t need to put in your contact details in the comment, just leave your real email address in the email field and we will contact you immediately. It’s all confidential unless you choose otherwise.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Hi… would a testimony from an ex-Management member do? What information do you need?

Posted by ex-Supervisor at January 24, 2009, 1:42 am

My contribution is a prayer and support. I believe that the person who write a word or words is responsible in any manner….truth will set us free.

I’ve been following this issue from the start and it’s only now that I’m posting my opinion.

To those who wish to provide information to Joel Disini in his fight for free speech, you have to make sure you are willing to execute a sworn affidavit and appear in court. Anonymous emails will definitely not help and be branded as hearsay.

Pardon the ignorance, but how is the documentation on JEA’s alleged court cases going to help?

Posted by Silverlokk at February 9, 2009, 2:38 pm

any updates on this case?

Posted by update.me at February 9, 2009, 5:03 pm

@Silverlokk

We need to prove to the judge that blogs are a valuable resource and that there is some truth to what Alimuom et. al. are saying. The judge might dismiss it as hearsay.

@update.me

We’ll post an update as soon as it happens.

If the allegations are really true and yet the TRO is issued, will presenting documents or evidences to an investigative journalist like Mr. Mike Enriquez will help? I’m just curious.

I know, justice system in the Philippines really sucks because only few cases are truly resolved. We call it “USAD PAGONG.”

any updates on the issue?

As of now… All I can contribute is just prayer & support which is mentioned by Kulisap (January 24, 2009).

Before I left the company, I ask my co employees specially the ones I really trusted to make a step against them, but unfortunately, all of them are scared specially the veterans of that company. They are the ones who mentioned that they won’t work on that company anymore once their contract has been finished. Still, most of them signed a contract again and still works for them.

So I stopped on my plan to get rid of that company since most of my co employees doesn’t want to cooperate and if I am the only one to complain, that hell company will chase me until they beat me up.

I don’t know if we will win this fight since our country’s justice can be paid like the usual, still I’m counting to the one’s who still fight for the rights of a certain employee must have.

to the owner of this blog and the rest of the blog against this HELL Company, how I wish that I have read your blogs first before I signed their contract. I have actually served them with dedication and in return I was given promotions. It was just that my contract expired and they have searched for holes and now they are charging me for major offenses. They really play dirty tactics.

I salute you for your courage. I hope to see this HELL company soon stop their operation. Operation of earning for themselves and the worst, using innocent people.

The blog might not be considered as a reliable source yet BUT if you have been employed in StratVisions, you’ll surely know it’s RELIABILITY and the TRUTH that it fights to prevail.
