Sexy Nomad is People’s Choice
December 8, 2006By garnering the highest number of SMS and online votes in her category, Jen Juan, more popularly known in the blogosphere as The Sexy Nomad, took home the People's Choice Blog trophy in last night's Philippine Web Awards. I was sitting with The Sexy Nomad at the 3rd level balcony of the Carlos P. Romulo auditorium in RCBC Plaza in Makati when they announced her as the winner. It was obvious by the stunned look on her face that it caught her completely off guard. She hurriedly handed me her stuff and quite literally ran down several flights of stairs to get her award. Smiling from ear to ear and now only just a little bit flusterred, she thanked everyone who voted for her and gave a special mention to her husband who she says, "inspired her to blog."
