The people behind DotPH have been involved in the Internet since 1989, five years before the Philippines was officially connected to the Internet backbone. DotPH servers are the center of the Philippine Internet Domain Name system. The system routinely handles over 60,000 queries a day through a network of over 80 servers, complete with firewalls, anti-virus protection and security against Denial-of-Service and other attacks.

DotPH's list of clients spans the globe. DotPH was one of the first domain registries worldwide to implement a Shared Registry System, which allowed for real-time domain search, registration and management 24/7.
